Our Office Home

Our Hong Kong office is in the Asian Area Administration Building, 118 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai. It is a 12 story building. The ground floor is reception area and includes a baptismal font. The first floor is where the chapel for our branch meets. There are also chapels on the 2nd and 6th floors. Floors 1-7 also have classrooms, family history, offices for branch president and counselor for the weekday branch etc. Floors 8-10 are for the Asian Area Presidency and staff. Our office is on the 8th floor with the Asian Area Welfare Manager (our boss), the other Asian Area Welfare Specialists, Elder and Sister Woolsey, the Asian Area Medical Doctor and his wife, Elder and Sister Bench, and the Asian Area Employment Resource Specialists, Elder and Sister Gibbons. Our great secretary is Jaymi. The above takes up one-half of the floor. Finance is in the other half. Floors 11-12 are living quarters for the Asian Area Presidency. We only go to those floors when we are invited such as our welcoming dinner in Elder Watson's apartment on February 24. There will be one other incoming couple, Elder and Sister Erikson (family history) and an outgoing couple, Elder and Sister Newell (legal). We are usually in the office 8:30 to 5:00 when we are in town
